Hi ..
Just an article about Xmas.
“Tees Valley Mohawks players, staff and volunteers would like to wish the Tees Valley people a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Tees Valley Mohawks play their home games at the impressive Teesside Univeristy’s Olympia Building in National league Division One and would love your support in 2012. Coach Steve Butler adds ” The Tees valley area is such a special place and has great people living in the area, In Middlesbrough at the moment their is the feel good factor with Middlesbrough Football Club doing so well and in 2012 i’m hoping for good things for both the football club and our beloved Basketball Club, We’ve got our next home game on January 7th against Bradford Dragons, Tip off at 5:00pm and we are doing a special introduction to basketball admission fee. If you quote ” Tees Valley Mohawks 1st timer” you get in 1/2 price. We are trying to bring crowds back to basketball and its a very cheap day out, Adult tickets cost £4 and Children tickets are just £2 with a family ticket of just £10 for 2 adults and 2 children but if you quote “Tees Valley Mohawks 1st timer ” you and your family will get in for 1/2 price.
Tees Valley Mohawks got promoted back into Division one last season and are currently standing on a 2 and 6 record which puts them 3rd bottom but are just a few wins away from a play off spot, Coach Butler got his side to the National Cup semi finals but were just pipped at the post by London Leopards in an exciting game of basketball. The National Cup is like the FA cup in football terms, Coach Butler adds ” It was a fantastic run in the cup and we did really well getting to the semi final and were so close to a national championship game but now in 2012 we can look forward to winning a few more games in the league and trying to charge a good run in the playoffs. With the support of the local people i believe this club can become a huge powerhouse in basketball again like we were in the late 1990′s and early 2000′s. The local people are what we are looking for to come along and support the Mohawks and be apart of the journey. ”
So a quick message from the club ” Have a happy, safe christmas and new year and i hope to see you on the 7th of January 2012. Come along shout loud and be proud to support your Tees Valley Mohawks.”
MERRY CHRISTMAS………………………………
Thanks
Steve Butler
